PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axle box support device for a railway vehicle capable of exhibiting high reliability in the fixing of a receiving seat and a lid member.SOLUTION: An axle box support device 10 comprises: a pair of receiving seats 20 having a fitting groove 20a for fitting a projection part 18c of a mandrel 18 therein; a pair of lid members 21 for supporting the projection part 18c fitted in the fitting groove 20a; fastening mechanisms 30 for fixing each lid member 21 to the receiving seat 20; and loosening stoppers of the fastening mechanisms 30. First bolts B1 and B2 are screwed to first screw holes 20e and 20g of the receiving seats 20 through the lid members 21. Fitting holes 32A and 32B of plates 30A and 30B are fitted to heads B1a and B2a of the first bolts B1 and B2, and second bolts B3 and B4 are screwed to second screw holes 21h and 21j through the plates 30A and 30B. The loosening stoppers are disposed to the second bolts B3 and B4. |
