PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a kit in effective formation of a cell coating layer. ! SOLUTION: A method according to the invention comprises the following (a) and (b): (a) binding a catalyst molecule contributed to the crosslinking reaction of a cross-linkable molecule to a specific molecule of the cell surface of a target cell through a binding molecule bound to the specific molecule; (b) in a solution containing the target cell bound to the catalyst molecule, and the cross-linkable molecule, crosslinking the cross-linkable molecule by the crosslinking reaction contributed by the catalyst molecule to form a coating layer which coats the cell surface of the target cell. !
