Disclosed are a fault diagnostic system for a work system of construction equipment and a fault diagnostic method using the same, and the fault diagnostic system for a work system of construction equipment comprises: an input unit for inputting state information on an engine, a hydraulic pump, and an implement of construction equipment; a control unit for calculating and mutually comparing horsepower information of each of the engine, the hydraulic pump, and the implement by the state information inputted into the input unit, and if the horsepower information differs from each other by a preset range or more, determining that any one of the engine, the hydraulic pump, and the implement corresponding thereto is abnormal; and an output unit for outputting the abnormality determined in the control unit. Thus, it is possible to reduce loss through the quickest response possible by precisely diagnosing and notifying of an abnormal situation of construction equipment, and a manufacturer of the construction equipment can store corresponding problematic situation information in a database so as to improve, in advance, parts at which problems occur frequently. |
