Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of information technology. Disclosed are a method for determining an application associated with an interface element, an electronic device, and a server. The method comprises: an electronic device determines an interface element of a first interface; the electronic device determines an application associated with the interface element, where the application associated with the interface element is an application associated with the interface element as determined on the basis of a match result of matching a semantic eigenvalue of the interface element to semantic eigenvalues of target applications, and, the electronic device displays a logo of the application associated with the interface element. The embodiments of the present invention allow the electronic device to intelligently identify an application associated with an interface element, thus increasing the scheduling efficiency of the electronic device in scheduling applications.
