The present invention relates to a seal and a waterproof connector using the same. According to the present invention, a seal (10) has an air discharge path (20) formed to a longitudinal direction of a seal body (12) forming a frame thereof. An outlet (24) of the air discharge path (20) is formed to an orthogonal direction of the seal body (12) to be opened to an outer surface of the seal body (12). In the seal (10), at the beginning of coupling a waterproof connector (30) and an opposite connector, a shape of the air discharge path (20) may be maintained for air inside a connector assembly to be discharged to the outside. At the end of combination, the outlet (24) of the air discharge path (20) is compressed to be closed for the seal (10) to have a function of waterproof and airtightness. According to the present invention, combination between the waterproof connector (30) and an opposite connector is easily performed while intactly maintaining waterproof performance. |
