PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wavelength variable laser diode array capable of obtaining a uniform optical output independently of wavelength. ! SOLUTION: Each length of a plurality of curved transparent waveguides 7, 8, 9, 10 is shorter as a wavelength of a corresponding laser diode is longer. The curved transparent waveguides 7, 8, 9, 10 and a transparent waveguide of an optical multiplexer 5 constitute a plurality of transparent waveguides connecting from a plurality of laser diodes 1, 2, 3, 4 to an optical amplifier 6, respectively.
