<p>The present invention provides a system and a method for indoor positioning, and the method comprises a step of calibration. In the step of calibration, a position measurement device and a wireless signal transmission device having a wired connection with each other are moved in indoor; during movement, the position measurement device measures a current position of the position measurement device every a preset time period, and transmits measured position information to the wireless signal transmission device; when receiving the measured position information, the wireless signal transmission device generates a positioning signal and transmits the positioning signal and the position information to a preset number of base stations wirelessly; and the preset number of base stations receive and associate the positioning signal and the position information transmitted by the wireless signal transmission device, and then establishes a database for storing the received positioning signal and position information as well as an association relationship therebetween. With the present invention, the cost of indoor positioning calibration may be greatly reduced, while a preset accuracy of indoor positioning is ensured.</p> |
