<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic braking system 1 capable of quickly canceling automatic braking in accordance with a driver's intention to accelerate. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic braking system 1 which automatically generates braking force without depending on a brake pedal operation of the driver, has: a control unit 2 getting control to attenuate and cancel the braking force which has been generated, by an accelerating pedal operating of a driver, in accordance with an attenuation coefficient; and an acceleration intention detector 8 detecting the degree of the acceleration intention of the driver for accelerating a vehicle, on the basis of the accelerating pedal operation. The control unit 2 attenuates and cancels the braking force quickly by reducing the attenuation coefficient in accordance with the degree of the acceleration intention. If the acceleration intention detector 8 determines that at least one of the open degree, step-on speed, and step-on acceleration of an accelerating pedal 19 is equal to or higher than a predetermined value, the control unit 2 reduces the attenuation coefficient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
