<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable right-turn determination to be performed only by information acquired from a GPS without acquiring information from its own vehicle, or without mounting an electronic map etc.; to enable a cost to be reduced; to enable it to be easily mounted on a vehicle; and to enable right-turn determination to be performed even if a driver forgets a winker operation at the right-turn. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes a GPS module for detecting a position of the own vehicle, a traveling direction, and a traveling speed by positioning of the GPS, a directional variation amount accumulating means for accumulating the variation amount of traveling directions of the own vehicle which is varied in a clockwise direction from the traveling directions of the own vehicle detected by the GPS module, and a right-turn determining means for determining right-turn of the own vehicle when the variation amount accumulated by the directional variation amount accumulating means are within a range which is previously set, and when the traveling speed of the own vehicle detected by the GPS module is not larger than a previously set first speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
