FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and deals with pharmaceutical composition, containing suspension, which includes mixture of hydrophobic medium and solid form, where solid form contains therapeutically effective quantity of octreotide and, at least, one salt of fatty acid with medium chain length, which has chain length from 6 to 14 carbon atoms, and matrix-forming polymer, selected from dextran and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), with salt of fatty acid with medium chain length being present in composition in amount of 10% by weight or more.
