<p>A flat knitting machine that can allow reliable selection on the path of a slider without a movable select presser for exclusive use in Split-knit being included in the pressers for pressing a butt of a select jack. When only a trailing Tuck presser 41a is put in the operative mode in position A and a Knit presser 23a is put in the inoperative mode, the selection between Knit provided by the needle selection related to position A and Split-knit provided by the needle selection related to position H can be made. When the Knit presser 23a is switched to the operative mode and also the leading Tuck presser 41b is put to the operative mode, the needle selection related to position H cannot allow the Split-knit, but can allow the selection of Tuck.</p> |
