The present invention relates to a multifunctional holder for a communication terminal comprising: a main body part (110) including a front case (120) and a rear case (130); a rotor (150) installed to be rotated in a shaft hole (122) of the front case (120); a supporter (161) to support the lower side of a communication terminal (10); a holder (165) to hold the upper side of the communication terminal (10); a rotary motion switch (171) to output to a control board (140); the control board (140) to output a motor driving control signal for driving a motor (172); a motor (172) rotating depending on the motor driving control signal output from the control board (140); a screw rod (173) rotating according to rotation of the motor (172); a linear mover (174) moving according to rotation of the screw rod (173); a rack gear (175) integrally moving with linear movement of the linear mover (174); a pinion gear (152) rotating according to linear movement of the rack gear (175) to allow the rotor (150) to rotate; and a speaker box (180) standing by supporting the main body part (110) to output an audio signal output from the communication terminal (10). The present invention has the advantage of automatically selecting the mounting direction of the communication terminal either horizontally or vertically.
