<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly evaluate information masking. <P>SOLUTION: An autocorrelation calculation section 22 calculates an autocorrelation sequence Ai[m] of a linear spectrum sequence Li[m] corresponding to each peak of a spectrum Qi[m] concerning each of acoustic signal s1(t) of a target sound VT and an acoustic signal s2(t) of a mixed sound of the target sound VT and a masker sound VM on each frame. A cross-correlation calculation section 24 calculates a mutual correlation coefficientρ[m] between the autocorrelation sequence A1[m] of the acoustic signal s1(t) and the autocorrelation sequence A2[m] of the acoustic signal s2(t) for each frame mutually corresponding to the acoustic signal s1(t) and the acoustic signal s2(t).
