<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a creation method for a running curve based on an objective index of an adhesive tractive force of a railway train. <P>SOLUTION: When powering of the railway train is started in the creation method for the running curve of the railway train, comparison between a tractive force curve and viscous tractive force is made (step S13) on the basis of provision of tractive force curve data at each notch (step S11) and provision of adhesive tractive force data (step S12). Next, on the basis of the comparison, the maximum notch out of effective notches of the railway train at the speed is selected (step S14). Then, the corresponding notch is held for fixed time (step S15).
