PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stud having fixing means easily-surely fixable to a side part gate and anti-theft means easily related to a fixing member, without damaging the side part gate, by cooperating with a structure of the fixing member of the stud.SOLUTION: In the stud for installing a loading space cover on the side part gate P of a loading space of a light truck, a fixing member 1 is formed in an inverse U shape, and a horizontal seat 5 turned to an inner wall 2 is provided on the lower end of an outer wall 4. The fixing means is composed of a set screw 20 threadedly provided on both horizontal seats 5, a presser plate 24 pressed by the set screw 20, protective materials 27 and 30 and a spacer 29 for protecting upper-lower surfaces of an upper edge step part 26 of a side part gate part P when pressing, and the anti-theft means is composed of a round hole 34 provided in a lever 19 for making a shaft bar 18 go in and out, a key member 22 vertically liftably guided by the set screw 20 and a round hole 36 provided in its vertical piece 35.
