<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide liquid treating equipment including an electrodeless discharge tube which is designed to display constantly high ability of liquid treatment. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid treating equipment, ferrite cores wound with induction coils electrified via a lead wire are arranged to interlink with an electrodeless ultraviolet discharge tube in a state of surrounding a part of the discharge tube. The whole of the liquid treating equipment of a complex shape having asperity is covered with an ultraviolet-ray-transmitting coating member. This eliminates the possibility that any part of the liquid treating equipment of the uneven shape having asperity cannot be covered with the coating member and prevents the liquid to be treated from infiltrating from such a part. Especially because the coating member prevents the ultraviolet discharge tube from being directly exposed to the liquid to be treated, any contamination of the liquid to be treated does not stick to the ultraviolet discharge tube, and the ultraviolet output from the ultraviolet discharge tube can be restrained from reducing due to temperature changes so that the liquid treating ability can be kept constantly high. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
