PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent resin particle having a specified and proper absorption speed pattern, that is, to provide an absorbent product which can provide the absorbent resin particle in which an absorption speed pattern is low in an initial stage, middle in an intermediate stage and high in a post stage, and does not cause such a problem as a back return and leakage by using the absorbent resin particle.SOLUTION: A swelling capacity measurement method measures physiological saline per 1g of the absorbent resin particle which contains a cross-liked polymer (A1) obtained by: including a water-soluble vinyl monomer (a1) and/or a hydrolytic vinyl monomer (a2), and/or a cross linker (b), if necessary, as a constituent unit; and performing negative-phase suspension polymerization. A ratio (t2/t1) between a time (t1) until a swelling capacity reaches 5 ml and a time (t2) until the swelling capacity reaches 40 ml is 5 to 20. |
