<p>The rim casing comprises a shrinkable or stretchable tubular casing material under thermal effect. The outer side of the rim casing is shriveled in circumferential direction of the casing material, during the shriveling of the inner side of the rim casing in longitudinal direction of the casing material. The inner side of the rim casing is stretched in circumferential direction. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a rim casing; and (2) an arc-shaped single or multi-layered artificial sausage is made of polyamide base.</p> |
