The present invention concerns a seal system particularly for industrial safety valves, even more particularly for industrial ball valves. The subject of the present invention is therefore both a seal system and a ball valve comprising said seal system. The system according to the present invention combines the advantages in terms of simplicity and economy of production which characterise ball valves provided with seal system with O-ring made of elastomeric material with the advantages in terms of resistance to hight pressures and reduction of the torques necessary for movement of the valve ball which characterise seal systems comprising a seal ring made of thermoplastic material.
