an enclosure comprising a base and a cover; a receiving area located in the enclosure for directly receiving a fiber optic adapter; one or more resilient walls, wherein the one or more resilient walls flex to allow the fiber optic adapter to be received in the receiving area; a retention feature, wherein the retention feature is configured to releasably retain the fiber optic adapter in the receiving area; and a mounting feature for mounting the fiber optic adapter mount to a surface, wherein the enclosure further comprises a connecting feature allowing the fiber optic adapter mount to be connected to another fiber optic adapter mount. |
