The linear bearing includes a track rail (1) which has rectangular cross section. The track rail has a central, axial trough (7) with inclined sides (8) which are provided with semi-circular ball track grooves (10). The sliding element (2) of the bearing has a protruding profile (12) that matches the track rail trough. It has matching ball track grooves (15) with ball return bends at both ends. When the bearing is assembled, the bearing balls (17) act as interlocking elements which hold the slider and the track rail together.
