<p>A method of producing a shell member of fibre composite material produced by means of vacuum infusion and applying a mould with a mould cavity is provided. ln the mould cavity a lower distribution layer is placed. A fibre insertion is placed above the lower distribution layer. First and second upper distribution layers are placed above the fibre insertion. A first inlet channel is placed above the first distribution layer, and a second inlet channel is placed on top of the second distribution layer. Above an intermediate zone of the fibre insertion a semi-permeable membrane is placed. A vacuum bag is placed on top of the mould, which is evacuated of air by means of the vacuum source, and polymer is directed into the mould via the first and second inlet channels. An apparatus for providing polymer is also provided. This can save time and reduce risk of dry spots.</p> |
