The present invention relates to a device and a method for testing saturation of a reactor are provided, comprising: a power supply unit for supplying power; an interface unit for inputting a command signal to operating the reactor saturation testing device; an inductance measurement for measuring the inductance value of the reactor; a reactor saturation estimation unit which receives the inductance value from the inductance measurement, detects a inductance variation based on the received inductance value, and estimates the saturation of the reactor; a control unit for controlling operation of the power supply unit, the interface unit, the inductance measurement, and the reactor saturation estimation unit.
