Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for modularizing contents. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for modularizing contents comprises the steps of: recognizing an identifier of a first content included in an electronic book; searching an associated identifier which corresponds to the recognized first identifier and is stored in database; and providing a second content identified by the searched associated identifier.
