PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing device capable of precisely evaluating a natural defect part of a tire surface.SOLUTION: A sample point extraction part 323 extracts a natural defect candidate part using a sample point constituting height data of one line obtained by performing one round of scanning of a measurement surface of a tire surface. The natural defect candidate part includes a natural defect part and an intentional irregularity part such as a character and a pattern. A discrimination part 325 previously stores a condition which is a feature of the shape of the intentional irregularity part formed on the measurement surface. The natural defect candidate part satisfying the condition is eliminated from the natural defect candidate parts from among the natural defect candidate parts. Thereby, the intentional irregularity part is discriminated from the natural defect part. |
