<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that can reduce a time of manufacturing processes.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device in one embodiment includes a substrate, a thin film transistor located on the substrate, a pixel electrode located on the thin film transistor, and a roof layer opposing to the pixel electrode. A plurality of microcavities are formed between the pixel electrode and the roof layer; the microcavities include liquid crystal substances; and partition walls are formed among the plurality of microcavities. The roof layer is formed of a dry film resist.</p> |
