PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit an absorbent article from being worn, with the back thereof mistaken for the front.SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes: an absorbent body for absorbing an excretory substance; a ventral belt member, the laterally central part of which is fixed to longitudinal one end of the absorbent body, while covering the one end from a non-skin side of the absorbent body; and a dorsal belt member, the laterally central part of which is fixed to the longitudinal other end of the absorbent body, while covering the other end from a non-skin side of the absorbent body. The ventral belt member includes a ventral elastic member stretching in the lateral direction, and the dorsal member includes a dorsal elastic member stretching in the lateral direction. The ventral belt member and the dorsal belt member include: joining parts where one part of laterally both side edges in the ventral bel member and one part of laterally both side edges in the dorsal belt member are joined; and non-joining part that are located longitudinally crotch side with respect to the joining parts and where both side edges of the ventral belt member and both side edges of the dorsal belt member are not joined. The ventral elastic member and the dorsal elastic member are longitudinally deflected at least in the longitudinal crotch side with respect to the joining parts. |
