PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of shortening time for starting hydro-desulfurizing a material gas, and reducing a desulfurization agent which is used with an adsorption desulfurizer when starting, compared with the conventional one.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 100 comprises: a reformer 8 for generating a reformed gas by using a material gas; a fuel battery 10 for generating power by using the reformed gas: a hydro-desulfurizer 6 for removing a sulfur compound included in the material gas by hydro-desulfurization; a recycling path 9 for sending part of the reformed gas to the hydro-desulfurizer 6; an adsorption desulfurizer 4 for removing the sulfur compound by adsorptive desulfurization; a branch path 2 which communicates between part of a material gas path 1 on an upstream side of the adsorption desulfurizer 4, and another part of the material gas path 1 between the adsorption desulfurizer 4 and the hydro-desulfurizer 6; a switch 3 for switching whether or not the material gas flows through the adsorption desulfurizer 4, by the branch path 2; and a heater 7 for heating the hydro-desulfurizer 6. The heater 7 is capable of switching ON/OFF when heating the hydro-desulfurizer 6. |
