PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for preventing wind erosion of soil which produces a sufficient wind erosion prevention effect, and to provide a method for preventing wind erosion of soil in which wind erosion prevention measures can be taken by a simple process. ! SOLUTION: A structure for preventing wind erosion of soil is made by forming a solidified layer 12, which is made by hardening magnesia, on the surface of soil 10. A method for preventing wind erosion of soil includes a step of adding powdery magnesia to water to prepare an aqueous solution of magnesia and a step of spraying the aqueous solution of magnesia on the surface of the soil 10, which allows the solidified layer 12, which is made by hardening magnesia, to be formed on the surface of the soil 10. !
