PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of preventing falling of a stored item mounted on a drawer shelf or a half-shut state of a door without contact of the stored item with a projecting portion provided in a rear portion of a ceiling surface of a stockroom at a time of storing the drawer shelf backward of the stockroom. ! SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes: a projecting portion 17 provided in a rear portion of a ceiling surface 16a of a stockroom 16 and protruding downward; a drawer shelf 20 provided below the ceiling surface 16a so as to be able to be drawn in a front-back direction, and defining a storage space between the drawer shelf 20 and the ceiling surface 16a; and a cover member 40 covering an upper portion of a rear portion of the drawer shelf 20, the cover member 40 being arranged below the projecting portion 17 in a state in which the drawer shelf 20 is stored backward of the stockroom 16. !
