PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet detecting device that is able to appropriately detect the trailing end of a binding-hole-having sheet in the direction of conveyance, and to provide an image processor, and a sheet detecting method.SOLUTION: A first sheet sensor part 32 scans relatively on a first scan line W1 parallel to a conveyance direction predetermined with respect to one of both sides of a conveyed sheet, which are orthogonal to the conveyance direction, and outputs a signal corresponding to the scan. A second sheet sensor part 33 scans relatively on a second scan line W2 parallel to the first scan line W1 relative to the sheet, and outputs a signal corresponding to the scan. Even when a signal output from the first sheet sensor part 32 shifts from a HIGH level to a LOW level and a signal output from the second sheet sensor part 33 shifts to a HIGH level, a sheet detection processing part 91 does not determine that the trailing end of a sheet in the direction of conveyance has been detected. |
