PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical device which makes possible to prevent the corrosion of a metal sealant, and the short circuit in an electrochemical device. ! SOLUTION: An electrochemical device 100 comprises: a case 10; a lid 12; a metal sealant 11; a power-storage device 13; and a partition part 20. The case 10 is formed from an insulative material, and has a concave portion 10a. The lid 12 is formed from a conductive material, and closes the concave portion 10a. The metal sealant 11 is provided between the case 10 and the lid 12, and has an annular form. The power-storage device 13 has: a negative electrode sheet 13b electrically connected with the lid 12; and a positive electrode sheet 13a provided over a bottom face 10f of the concave portion 10a, opposed to the negative electrode sheet 13b with an electrolyte interposed therebetween.
