<p>Disclosed are a vehicle position estimation system and a method thereof. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a vehicle position estimation system capable of increasing position estimation accuracy by dynamically applying sensor data according to the accuracy of GNSS data. The present invention comprises; a sensor unit having a plurality of sensors which obtain the sensor data by measuring the state of a vehicle with a predetermined method; a V2X terminal which receives the sensor data from the sensor unit, includes a GNSS module, and receives a satellite signal and produces the GNSS data; and a position estimation unit which receives the sensor data and the GNSS data from the V2X terminal, and evaluates the accuracy of the sensor data and the GNSS data with a predetermined method. The position estimation unit obtains a position coordinate of the vehicle by combining a GNSS position coordinate obtained from the GNSS data according to the evaluation result and a DR position coordinate obtained from the sensor data.</p> |
