PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector having a desirable appearance even in a state that a cable is connected to a connection terminal section and being capable of saving an installation space.SOLUTION: A projector 1 is provided with a light modulator 22 for modulating light emitted from a light source section 21 and forming an image and a projection optical system 23 for projecting the image formed by the light modulator 22 inside an exterior housing 2. The exterior housing 2 is provided with a signal terminal section 60 and a power terminal section 61 individually connected with a signal cable 70 and a power cable 72 on a back surface portion 8 of the exterior housing 2. Further, the signal terminal section 60 is disposed at a side inner than the power terminal section 61 such that a connector 70A of the signal cable 70 can be inserted in a direction perpendicular to the back surface portion 8, and the power terminal section 61 is disposed at a side outer than the signal terminal section 60 such that a connector 72A of the power cable 72 can be inserted in a direction parallel to the back surface portion 8. |
