AUTO SCALING SYSTEM AND METHOD IN CLOUD COMPUTING ENVIRONMENT

The present invention relates to an auto scaling system and method in a cloud computing environment. More specifically, the auto scaling system comprises: a client including a resource request of a user in the service level agreement (SLA) in a cloud computing environment, and then transmitting the information about the SLA; an auto scaling engine for receiving the information of the SLA from the client, analyzing a resource request of a user in the received information, and requesting the resource controlling of a virtual device; and a cloud infrastructure for controlling a resource usage amount of a virtual device based on the resource control request received from the auto scaling engine. In the auto scaling system and method in a cloud computing environment of the present invention, information about the SLA including a user unique resource request is received, and resource reallocation of a virtual device may be determined based thereon, thereby improving user satisfaction.
