PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle capable of improving the startability of an engine, suppressing deterioration in the drivability.SOLUTION: An ECU 112 causes an engine 20 to start during travelling on a motor, shifting to a hybrid travelling. When a condition for starting the engine 20 during a motor-travelling in which the engine 20 is stopped is established, the ECU 112 performs a motoring a crank shaft 22 of the engine 20 by a generator 40 that is supplied with power from a battery 30, thus causing the engine 20 to perform an idle rotation without driving it with fuel combustion. |
