PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting unit capable of improving assembly workability and obtaining stable heat radiation from a flexible wiring board to a base.SOLUTION: A light-emitting unit 21 includes: a light-emitting module 32; and a base 33. The light-emitting module 32 is configured so that a light-emitting element 36 is mounted on a front surface 35a of a flexible wiring board 35. The base 33 includes a planar base loading surface 42 contacted by a rear surface 35b of the flexible wiring board 35; and holders 39 provided on both sides and including grooves 44 in which both sides 35e of the flexible wiring board 35 in contact with this board loading surface 42 are arranged, respectively. A tip end of each of the two sides 35e of the flexible wiring board 35 does not abut on a deepest portion 44a of each groove 44. The holders 39 hold the flexible wiring board 35 in a state in which the two sides 35e of the flexible wiring board 35 are curved and the rear surface 35b of the flexible wiring board 35 contacts the base loading surface 42.
