<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray computer tomography apparatus which can shorten processing time in forward projection processing and reverse projection processing and improve efficiency of resources to be used.SOLUTION: An image reconstruction device determines a projection position of an end of a detection element onto a prescribed reference axis in an image space for each of a plurality of detection elements, determines a projection position of an end of a pixel onto a reference axis for each of a plurality of pixels included in the image space, identifies a plurality of contribution detection elements contributing to pixel values of the pixels on the basis of the determined projection position of the end of the pixel and the determined projection position of the end of the detection element for each of the plurality of pixels, sets parallel arithmetic so that a plurality of arithmetic tasks related to pixel value arithmetic in each processing cycle are allocated to a plurality of arithmetic devices on the basis of the number of the plurality of arithmetic devices, and calculates the pixel value of each of the plurality of pixels on the basis of a detector value of the contribution detection element in accordance with the set parallel arithmetic.</p> |
