PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display device which enables a driver to easily recognize a displayed image.SOLUTION: A head-up display device which projects an image on a wind shield or a combiner such that a driver can visualize a virtual image across the wind shield of a vehicle includes a road traffic sign information gain part which gains road traffic sign information, a traffic sign image gain part which gains a traffic sign image corresponding to the road traffic sign information gained by the traffic sign information gain part, an image producing part which produces an image containing a traffic sign image gained by the traffic sign image gain part and a projection part which projects an image produced by the image producing part toward the wind shield or the combiner. Therein, when the traffic sign information gain part gains new road traffic sign information, the image producing part moves the new road traffic sign information from a first appearance position to the first direction, thereafter, moves the new road traffic sign information to the second direction different from the first direction and produces an image caused to appear in a viewing field of the driver. |
