PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of an underrun protector which can secure requested strength and rigidity while efficiently achieving weight saving by processing light-weight holes.SOLUTION: The structure of an underrun protector 10 attached to right and left brackets of a front part or a rear part of a vehicle body frame of a vehicle includes a vehicle longitudinal direction outer surface part, a vehicle longitudinal direction inner surface part, an upper surface part and a lower surface part and has a hollow closed cross section. The outer surface part and the inner surface part are formed with a plurality of light-weight holes 61, 62 arranged in the longer direction of the underrun protector 10. The plurality of light-weight holes 61, 62 are set so as to have larger hole diameters in the vertical direction as apart from coupling regions 11, 11 respectively coupled to each bracket in the underrun protector 10. |
