The present invention relates to a wireless communication method and apparatus which supports an increase in frequency efficiency based on a channel function. According to the prevent invention, a modulation rate is not fixed according to the number of antennas. The number of channel functions can be adaptively changed. Thereby, optimal performance can be realized according to a channel environment and a change in receiving sensitivity.
