<p>The invention relates to a lock (1) comprising a main body (2), a lock bolt (3), an operating handle (4) pivoting into a closed or into an open position, and an actuating mechanism (5, 6) positioned between the control handle and the lock bolt in order to cause the lock bolt to effect a translational movement either into a locked position when the handle is closed or into an unlocked position when the handle is open. The lock comprises a safety device (7, 11) configured to keep the control handle immobilized in a semi-open position when the safety device is first actuated, requiring said safety device to be actuated for a second time in order to allow the control handle to be pivoted into an open position. The actuating mechanism is configured to keep the lock bolt in the locked position as long as the control handle remains in the semi-open position. The invention relates also to a door, notably for railway rolling stock, equipped with at least one such lock.</p> |
