AC DIRECTED LED DRIVER MODULE AND LED ILLUMINATION SYSTEM

Disclosed are an AC-directed LED driver module, capable of minimizing standby power, and an LED lighting system having the same. The AC-directed LED driver module comprises: an AC-directed LED driver which receives AC power from an external AC power supply and outputs by converting the AC power into drive power for driving LED lighting; and a standby power cut-off device which is placed and electrically connected between the AC power supply and the AC-directed LED driver and switches the AC power transmitted to the AC-directed LED driver in response to a detection signal received from the outside. The standby power cut-off device includes a cut-off unit which cuts off the AC power transmitted to the AC-directed LED driver during an inactive period when the detection signal has a value of an inactivation level, and allows the AC power transmitted to the AC-directed LED driver to pass therethrough during an active period when the detection signal is changed to a value of an activation level and maintains the value. Thus, the present invention is capable of minimizing standby power consumed in the AC-directed LED driver, regardless of the operation of the LED lighting, by effectively switching the AC power in response to the detection signal.
