The present invention relates to a cutting apparatus for a tire reinforcement belt as a semi-finished product of a tire and, more specifically, relates to a cutting apparatus for a tire reinforcement belt which cuts a tire reinforcement belt along a course of a cord wave of a reinforcement belt to prevent the cord of the reinforcement belt from breaking. To achieve this, the cutting apparatus for a tire reinforcement belt has a plurality of cutting parts (3) having cutters (2) which freely move along a guiderail (1) from side to side in a longitudinal direction to be arranged at regular intervals to cut a reinforcement belt cord sheet (4). A cutting part (3) has a laser irradiation sensor (5) to distinguish peaks (4b) and valleys (4a) of the reinforcement belt cord sheet (4). Therefore, the cutting apparatus for a tire reinforcement belt moves and cuts the moving reinforcement cord sheet (4) along the valleys (4a) when a laser irradiation beam (5a) of the laser irradiation sensor (5) distinguishes the peaks (4b) and the valleys (4a) of the reinforcement belt cord sheet (4). |
