Disclosed is a method for providing a service in a screen locking state of a service providing apparatus which includes the steps of: displaying a service providing interface for selecting at least one service in the screen locking state; receiving an input signal to select at least one service through the service providing interface; transmitting a service composition information request including the identification information of the selected service to a service generating apparatus; receiving the service composition information generated based on the service composition information request from the service generating apparatus; and providing the selected service based on the received service composition information.
