PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a product with a surface skin, which has a recessed part partially on the surface skin and a stitch line at the bottom of the recessed part, without performing strict positioning work.SOLUTION: When a product 10 with the surface skin is produced, which product includes a base material 11, a multilayer material 12 obtained by placing the surface skin 13 on a cushion layer 14, and the stitch line 17 comprising a plurality of seams arrayed so as to form a linear shape along the surface of the surface skin 13, a stitch line formation step and an adhesion step are carried out at the least. At the stitch line formation step (figure 1(c)), the cushion layer 14 and surface skin 13 are sewed together by using a needle thread 18 and a looper thread 19 so that a part of the cushion layer 14 of the multilayer material 12 is recessed toward the surface skin 13 side to form the stitch line 17 on the surface of the surface skin 13. At the adhesion step (figure 1(e)), the almost whole surface (the almost whole surface of the rear surface of the cushion layer 14) of the rear side surface of the multilayer material 12, which whole surface includes the rear surface of a point to be sewed together, is stuck fast to the base material 11. |
