1. A recording apparatus comprising:
a transfer belt configured and arranged to transfer a recording medium; a recording section configured and arranged to perform recording on the recording medium; a wiper blade configured and arranged to abut with the transfer belt; and a pair of clamping members supporting the wiper blade as being clamped by the clamping members, an extension length from an clamping region toward the transfer belt of one of the clamping members on a downstream side with respect to a movement direction of the transfer belt transferring the recording medium during recording being longer than the extension length of the other of the clamping members.
