SOLUTION: A terminal 202 carries out remote authentication with a server 201 as the source of downloaded content to be reproduced, and performs pseudo streaming request for the content attaching an exchange key obtained by the remote authentication. If the remote authentication with the server 201 fails, the terminal 202 does not reproduce the downloaded content. Thus, the downloaded content is prevented from being used with no limitation. !
