PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC generator for a vehicle which increases the air quantity of cooling air thereby improving the cooling effect.SOLUTION: An AC generator includes: a casing having vent holes at an outer periphery; a stator disposed in the casing; a rotor rotatably supported in the stator; a fan which is disposed facing the vent holes in the casing and integrally rotated with the rotor; and protrusions, each of which is formed in a position located adjacent to an outer periphery of each vent hole of the casing on a surface on which a tip part of the fan and the casing face each other. |
