PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which is excellent in fitness of a crotch part, leak prevention property, and preventive property of liquid return to the skin.SOLUTION: A disposable diaper 1 includes: a top sheet 2 forming a skin-facing surface; an outer layer sheet 3 forming a skin-non-facing surface; and an absorber 4 between the sheets. The absorber 4 has an absorbent core 40 long in a longitudinal direction X corresponding to a back and froth direction of a wearer, and the absorbent core 40 includes a water-absorbing polymer. The absorbent core 40 has a large area region 40a and a small area region 40b whose areas are different from each other at front and rear sides of an absorber crotch area 40c when the absorber crotch area 40c is set in a constricted part. In the absorbent core 40, a slit 7 extending in the longitudinal direction is formed from the absorber crotch area 40c to the large area region 40a. The slit 7 crosses a center line CL of the outer layer sheet 3, 80% or more of the full length is located more on the large area region 40a side from the center line CL, and width W2 in the large area region 40a is larger than width W1 in the absorber crotch area 40c. |
